The United Academy – The U

We are extremely excited to roll out a brand new program called The United Academy (The U) to give more playing opportunities to these 14-15 year old players to still call Katy United home. 

The U will consist of ONE practice a week (Friday night 7:30-9:30), THREE in house scrimmage days and FIVE local one day tournaments (One a month from December-April)

This program will be offered to all players and will not require an additional tryout. Registration will be capped based on court availability. Practices will start November 5 and end in April. Teams will have anywhere between 8-12 players based on registrations.

Each age group will train together for the first two weeks before they are split into teams. This will allow us to reevaluate the athletes and place them on teams based positions. Please understand that the overwhelming number of tryout participants were DS/Libero. This means that The U teams could have some players playing out of position or have some DS/Libero type players playing all the way around or just front row.

The cost of this program will be $2050 with $300 of that being due at registration as a commitment fee to hold your spot. Each player will receive the following.

If you don't have a parent account with KU, please create a parent account and add your player as a family member. You can then register her for the United Academy and pay the $300 commitment fee.
