LGI(T) Review or LGI(T) Review plus Basic Challenge

There are two options for this one-day course:

1. The ARC LGI/IT Review Course only.

2. The ARC LGI/IT Review Course plus the Basic LG Course for Instructors.

**If you need the r.24 update please register for the Review Course and then contact us so you can be sent the appropriate blended learning information**

This course is for American Red Cross Lifeguard Instructors that have taught at least one class in the last two years and need to renew their Lifeguard Instructor (HSSAQU856) or Lifeguarding Instructor Trainer certification . ARC has included a requirement that all LGI's do an in-person water review every two years to maintain the LGI certification.

The LGI Update course runs a minimum of 7.5 hours and offers the opportunity to do a Lifeguard Review challenge-like certification afterwards.  This type of basic level recertification is not available to anyone that has not just successfully completed the Lifeguard Instructor Review course.

Please be sure to download and be familiar with the LG Manual and LGI Manual.

Important things to bring with you to class:

1. Swim suit and towels.

2. Snacks and water for the day.

3. LGI Manual (mentioned above).

4. Proof of current LG Certification.

5. Proof of current LGI Certification.
